Rachel McAdams was born in London, OntarioOctober 7, 1978, McAdams began her career with parts in small films but became truly famous when she took roles in the teen movies The Hot Chick, and Mean Girls. McAdams followed these successful movies with the film adaptation of Nicholas Sparks' novel The Notebook.
